Crusaders Women Take Two of Three Over Weekend

ORLANDO, FL - After two games on the road and one at home over a three-day period, the Central Florida Crusaders came away with two overtime wins, moving them to 4-3 on the season.


On Friday in North Carolina against the Fayetteville Fury, the Crusaders dropped a 10-6 decision, with Jordan Rowan scoring a hat trick.


The next day in Fayetteville, Central Florida pulled out a 4-3 overtime win with Rowan scoring the game-winning goal.


Just hours later back in Orlando, Central Florida would once again head to overtime, after the team scored three unanswered to end the 4th. Nicole DiPerna would send the fans home happy, scoring her 5th goal in the overtime frame, giving the Crusaders the win. DiPerna's goal was one of five she scored on the day.


The Crusaders will now have a week off before hosting Fayetteville on March 25th and 26th.
